The Leading Edge coaching staff is made up of the best coaches in the area. All Leading Edge coaches support the Positive Coaching Alliance methodology of coaching and share our PASSION for lacrosse. All Leading Edge coaches played at the division 1 and 2 and 3 levels. Many earned high school and collegiate All American honors. You can be guaranteed your child will be coached by an expert.

Marc Moreau
Founder of Leading Edge Athletics, LLC and Director of the Elite program. Head coach St. Joseph High School, Metuchen. A graduate of Rutgers University. Two time All American defender and team captain senior year. Selected to the prestigious North vs. South senior all star game. Selected to tryout for the 1990 US National team (1 of 3 college defenders selected to tryout).
Brad Kerwin - Elite High School Team Director
Assistant coach St. Joseph HS. Formerly head coach at North Brunswick HS. A graduate of Rutgers University. Brad is a graduate of one of the most successful high school lacrosse programs in the country, West Genesee HS in upstate NY. Brad was a Junior College All American defender at Ann Arundel CC in Maryland. From Ann Arundel Brad went on to have an outstanding career at Rutgers. Upon graduation from Rutgers Brad was selected to play for the NJ Pride of Major League Lacrosse.
Chris Roy – Elite High School Coach
Chris is currently enrolled at the Seton Hall University Law School. Chris was an outstanding player at Hunterdon Central High School and Loyola College in Maryland. Chris has coached at Immaculata HS and Hillsborough HS.
Tim Roy – Elite High School Coach
Tim is currently finishing up his undergraduate degree. Tim had an outstanding career at Hunterdon Central High School. Upon graduation Tim went on to a career with the US Marines. Upon his return Tim has had a great career as a club lacrosse player. Tim has been the assistant lacrosse coach at Bernards High School in Bernardsville. Tim is currently the head lacrosse coach at Del Val HS.
Gregg Malfa – Elite Team Coach
Greg is currently a teacher at Shore Regional HS. Greg played his college lacrosse at Kean College, where had an outstanding career as a midfielder. Gregg played his high school lacrosse at North Hunterdon HS.
Rob Auletti – Elite Team Coach Rob is presently an assistant coach at St. Joseph HS in Metuchen. Rob played his high school lacrosse in the hotbed of Long Island at St.John the Baptist. After high school Rob went on to URI and then to Rutgers.

Adam Deisly – Elite Team Coach
Adam is currently the assistant coach at Hillsborough High School. Adam had an outstanding career at Edison High School. After Edison Adam went on to have an outstanding career at midfield for the Ohio Wesleyan Bishops. OWU is a perennial power in division 3.
Brandon Jones – Elite Team Coach
Brandon is a graduate and four year player from Rutgers University. Brandon had an outstanding career as a midfielder and face off specialist for Rutgers. Prior to Rutgers Brandon played his high school lacrosse at Corning East High School in Upstate NY.
Phil Schambach – Elite Team Coach
Phil is currently the assistant coach at Kean University. Phil played his high school lacrosse at Bridgewater Raritan HS and was a member of their state championship team his senior year. After Bridgewater, Phil went on to have an outstanding career at Rutgers University as a midfielder.
Kyle Kirst – Elite Team Coach
Kyle is arguably the best youth lacrosse coach around. A father of 5 boys Kyle has a special way about him. Kyle played his high school lacrosse at Huntington HS on Long Island. After high school Kyle went on to have an outstanding career as a goalie at Rutgers University. Kyle is presently a coach with the Somerset Hills Youth Lacrosse program and a social studies teacher at Hanover Park HS. Kyle is currently an assistant coach with Summit HS.
Rich Burton – Elite Team Coach
Rich is currently the Athletic Director at Bernards High School. Rich played his high school lacrosse at Cold Spring Harbor in Long Island. Rich went on to have an outstanding career as a midfielder for the Scarlet Knights. Rich has been the head coach at NY Maritime, a division 3 collegiate program as well as an assistant coach for state champion Bridgewater Raritan HS.
Mike St. George – Elite Team Goalie Coach Mike is currently the assistant coach at St. Joseph HS in Metuchen. Mike had an outstanding career as a goalie at Rutgers. Mike played his high school lacrosse at St. Joseph HS where he holds many records for saves.
Matthew Shinney - Elite Team Coach. Matt is currently an assistant coach at Rutgers University. Coach Shinney has previously served as an assistant coach with FDU and the Boston Cannons of the MLL.
Steve Hess - Elite Team Coach. Steve is currently an assistant coach at Hillsborough HS. Steve was an All American defender at Loyola College in Baltimore.

Ray Megill – Elite Team Coach
Ray is currently in his senior season at the University of Maryland. Ray received All American honors as a defender of the 2006 season. Ray is a starting defender on the final 4 Terrapins lacrosse team. Ray was also a high school All American at AL Johnson Regional HS in Clark. We are excited to have Ray as a part of the staff for 2007. Ray currently plays for the Boston Cannons of the MLL.
Mark Wilson - Elite Team Coach - Mark is currently the Head Coach at Hillsborough HS. Mark played his college lacrosse at Lehigh. Prior to Hillsborough, Mark was an assistant coach at St. Joseph HS.
