LE LAX Academy programs are open to players in 5th grade through High School.

Great lacrosse players are made in the off-season. We’ll help you to improve on the fundamentals and increase your LAX IQ - bringing your game to a level you never thought possible.

Programs offered by the LE LAX Academy are custom designed to help you improve your level of play. Based on your level of ability the Leading Edge Staff then creates a set of drills for you to work on each session.  Your progress is tracked and you WILL see improvement! 

• Day 1 - player evaluation. 
• Players will then be grouped by age and ability. 
• The stronger the players the more challenging drills they will receive.
• Your progress will be tracked weekly and as milestones are reached the intensity of the drills will increase. 
• Players get better by working on the fundamental skill set that their position demands. 
• Each 60 minute session allows you to have over 200 touches (average player) of a lacrosse ball. 
  • Q - How many winter league games would it take you to get that many touches?
    • A - About 10 GAMES for one of the top players on a team -- Think about that!
• Offensive players will work on -
  • Shooting, Footwork, Dodging, Stick Skills
• Defensive players will work on -
  • Footwork , Stick positioning, Stick Skills , Body positioning
• Goalies will work on
  • Arcs , Footwork, Stickwork, Communication
