Varsity (sophomores and juniors + pg’s) Leading Edge Gold
High school players are permitted to play “up” if they have the game and are physically mature enough to compete against players two to three years older. The primary goal of the high school teams is to provide exposure to college coaches. Leading Edge also assists in the recruiting process, if desired. Contrary to popular belief recruiting does not happen on its own and it starts with your grades. There is a lot of work involved, and to do it right, only you can do it! The staff at Leading Edge has been involved in the recruiting process as a coach and a player. We help you navigate the process. We also help by promoting our players to the college coaches via emails, media guides and face to face meetings.
There is a serious time, energy, effort and financial commitment to part of these teams. At the high school level there is an added commitment to the recruiting process. We expect all the players to reach out to college coaches the week prior to each tournament. Direction and guidance will be provided along the way.
